Summary

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the Shop Labourer is responsible for performing general duties in the shop and yard. The individual will take direction well and be able to perform physically demanding work.

Hours

5:30am - 4:00pm

Job Duties

• General labour work at our shop location in Saskatoon
• Load and unload materials
• Prefabrication of wall and flooring systems
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment
  
• Work with team in the shop to complete projects within established timeframes
• Ensure shop safety is maintained and safety documentation is completed
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Maintain open and clear communication with your supervisor to establish goals, timelines, and expectations
• Help maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop and yard areas
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent (an asset but not required)
• Minimum one (1) year experience in construction or carpentry work
  
• Valid driver's license and vehicle to get to work

Skills & Abilities

• Effective verbal and listening communications skills
• Time management and good organizational skills
• Ability to work with others in a team environment
• Ability to problem solve and deal with complex detailed projects

Work Conditions

We are looking for someone to fill the position of Forklift Operator. It is fast paced, requires attention to detail and someone who is safety conscious.

Hours

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Job Duties

• Safely operating a forklift
• Handling lumber materials
• Prepping materials for shop orders
• Unloading incoming trucks of lumber
• Loading outgoing trucks with wall panels and building materials
• Working with the team to get materials lined up for prefabrication
• Maintaining a clean worksite
• Picking out lumber based on order specifications
• Assisting in the shop with orders as needed

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements

Education, Experience and Knowledge

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships. They will utilize knowledge of the company's products and customer base to drive sales growth and achieve annual sales targets. They are responsible for prospecting new accounts, retaining existing customers, and identifying opportunities to expand business within current and emerging markets.

Job Duties
